Vaccines

We offer the full range of immunisations including baby vaccinations, flu vaccine and pneumococcal vaccine.

Childhood Immunisations: We follow the guidance from the Immunisation board for childhood vaccines. Each child will receive vaccines at 2 months, 4 months, 6 months and 1 year. There is the option to give the chickenpox vaccine at 12 and 13 months.

Flu vaccine: Each year we operate flu clinics in order to administer the flu vaccine to our patients. We have adult and child flu vaccines.

Pneumococcal vaccine: This is recommended for all adults over the age of 65. For most it is a single vaccination but for some ‘high risk’ people, they may require a booster after 5 years. Please discuss this with our nurses or doctors.

HPV vaccine: HPV vaccine is usually administered to secondary school student through the schools.
